Swimming is the movement and / or displacement of water by the use of body extremities and usually without using any artificial device. Swimming is an activity that can be both useful and recreational.
Styles of swimming:
- Crawl: This is one of the most popular styles of swimming. In this style the swimmer is in ventral position (face down), and consists of a completed action with both arms, combining smoothies with legs (kick).
- Back: In this style the swimmer goes back position and is a stroke equal to Crol just in back and combined with the same old-style kick.
- Breaststroke or breast: is the oldest of all because their movements are more natural. Style is slowest among the four. In this swimmer is in ventral position (face down) and making movements with arms and legs simultaneous and symmetrical.
- Butterfly: This is the more modern of all, is one of the most difficult because it requires strength and coordination. The swimmer is in ventral position (face down), requires perfect coordination between arms and legs, use the dolphin kick (similar to the flapping of dolphins).
Ok, here is a video that shows techniques for front crawl swimming style.
I hope you liked it, thank you.
